Vision

Improving the quality of life of all types of disabled people in Bangladesh and protecting their interests.

Mission

Ensuring equality, rights, full participation and integrated social system of all types of disabled people in Bangladesh in the light of international initiatives and service standards and in the light of the UN proclaimed UNCRPD. To achieve the overall development of the country by establishing social awareness and rule of law to include the disabled people in the mainstream of the society.

All the development and welfare programs for the disabled that exist at the government and private levels are very insufficient compared to the needs, so the government decided to establish the National Disability Development Foundation to play a proper and strong role in the service of the disabled. This foundation will play an effective role in coordinating all activities related to disability and policy formulation and implementation at the national level.

Also-

1. Providing free therapeutic treatment facilities to various types of disabilities.

2. Providing one stop service for the disabled.

3. Distribution and repair of mobility aids (Artificial Limbs, Wheel Chairs, Wheel Frames, Crutches, Hearing Aids, White Ken Glasses for the visually impaired) free of cost to the differently abled.

4. Providing library facilities for the disabled and trading Braille books for the visually impaired students.

5. Collection and storage of data on persons with disabilities.

6. Facilitating internet access for disabled people.
